In a little over two years, we have grown and processed about $2B in payments and more than ₦1Billion in daily transactions. Agent Acquisition Manager, Kudi

Job purpose

As an Agent Acquisition Manager, you will be  responsible for growing and nurturing our agent network through identifying, recruitment and deployment of agents across Nigeria

About You

  • Experience in the marketing/sales team of an FMCG, Distribution, Retail or Agent Banking
  • Experience running a multiple betting store, multiple agent stores or any distribution network
  • Hands-on knowledge/experience in financial planning, budgeting and reconciliation
  • You must be resilient, with the capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability in third party relationship management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partners/agents and to solve problems
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Experience in cost per unit management
  • Ability to demonstrate: drive for results, business and financial acumen and conflict management
  • Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge and skills (including Excel)

About the Position

  • Responsible for all aspects of Kudi agent acquisition interactions and negotiation to ensure they are scalable.
  • You will have to develop the strategy for operation of the network
  • Represent the Company through personal contact with our stakeholders

Customer Success Associate (Hausa Speaking), Kudi

Lekki, Nigeria

As the Customer Success Associate (Hausa speaking ), you will be the first contact our agents and users make with Kudi. You will be responsible for ensuring that our agents/users (especially from/in Northern Nigeria) have a seamless support experience over the phone, live chat and emails. This includes handling incoming issues and working with other teams to troubleshoot problems.

You will also serve as a feedback channel to the company by relaying their concerns and problems to the relevant teams so that we can fix the gaps.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • Strong command of written and verbal Hausa & English
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
  • 2+ years of previous customer service experience (to Hausa speaking customers) is a plus 
  • Friendly and welcoming manner with clients and other members of the customer service team
  • Action-Oriented and should be able to follow up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software programs
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner to customers
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations

About the Position

  • Operate as the lead point for any and all matters specific to customer accounts

  • Provide seamless/personalized  customer experience to our Hausa Speaking customers  

  • Engage and build customer loyalty by delivering above-and-beyond hospitality via email, phone and other digital communications and any other functions as may be assigned by the supervisor/team lead

  • Interface with internal stakeholders to ensure an effective resolution process for Hausa speaking customers/stakeholders

  • Maintain updated knowledge of the organization’s products, services, and customer service policies

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to help resolve issues with Kudi support tools

  • Document customer interactions when necessary, compiling documents and forwarding information to interested parties

  • Explain simply and clearly in response to customer questions and check for customer understanding and acceptance

  • Recommend new services/solutions or make suggestions for improvements by identifying relevant features and benefits

  • Establish and maintain good rapport with customers by using positive language and anticipating their needs
  • Learn our product to configure the platform to meet the needs of new users
  • Provide platform training and onboarding for new and existing users
  • Develop and maintain an ideal user/customer profile  and collect User feedback
  • Interface with other internal teams in order to help agents resolve their issues
  • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved on first call resolution(FCR) to the backend and follow up on a resolution

Product Marketer, Kudi

Kudi’s marketing team is on a core mission to change the face of finance and banking in Africa. The Product Marketing Manager ensures that the right customers are getting the right message, through the right channels, at the right time. We are looking for a results-oriented, data-driven marketer to join Kudi as the Product Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the developer space, product strategy, branding, and marketing. They should also possess exceptional analytical and communication skills.

 About You:

  • You have proven experience in Product Marketing with 3+ years in a tech or FMCG company.
  • You have experience managing a Loyalty Proi
  • You have a University degree, preferably in Business Studies, Engineering or Marketing.

About the Position:

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll work and define the positioning, messaging, promotion strategies and competitive differentiation of Kudi’s products in collaboration with various stakeholders throughout the company.
  • Drive the go-to-market plan and post-launch marketing programs with the rest of the marketing team and Growth team. 
  • Track campaign performance and optimize through continuous testing.
  • You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering, Growth team, Brand Marketing, and Content Marketing teams.
  • You’ll develop and maintain all marketing materials related to Kudi’s products such as manuals, product descriptions, sales and support enablement.

Senior Backend Engineer, Kudi

Lekki, Nigeria

As a senior backend engineer, you will be responsible for all levels of our vast technology stack from design to deployment; developing intelligent and resilient mission-critical systems that handle tens of millions of dollars in transactions monthly. You will also be responsible for significant architectural decisions, guiding the rest of the team technically and using all of the tools at your disposal along with your initiative to get stuff done.

Kudi Software Engineers build solutions that will forever change the face of finance and banking in Africa. We’re looking for engineers that can bring fresh ideas and experience to the table from all areas of expertise including distributed system design, mobile development, systems architecture, networking,  security and more.

About You:

  • Excellent programming skills
  • At least 3 years experience developing in Java
  • At least 3 years experience building and maintaining microservice architectures
  • Experience working with Containers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of fundamental computing topics, e.g. networking, databases, concurrency, parallelism, locking, algorithms, data structures, performance monitoring, optimization, etc
  • Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, e.g DDD, TDD
