University of Missouri Kansas City scholarships are currently open to interested applicants. Academic units offer several scholarship opportunities for international students who meet the eligibility requirements. You may also fund your education at UMKC with a variety of private scholarships.

Singapore Scholarship for international students 2021-2022

Level of Degree:

University of Missouri Kansas city scholarships is available to undertake Undergraduate and Master’s program.

Available faculties:

  • The various faculty are available Faculty of Arts and Sciences
  • Computing and Engineering

Scholarship value:

This is for the school of Arts and Sciences

The CAS Chancellor’s Non-Resident Award (CNR) covers $8,000 of non-resident tuition — $4,000 in the Fall semester and $4,000 in the Spring semester. It is awarded upon admission and is renewable.

Eligibility for University of Missouri Kansas city undergraduate scholarships:

  • First-time, full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate or master’s-level student in the College of Arts and Sciences
  • Transcripts showing an outstanding academic record — minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum 79 iBT (550 paper) TOEFL score or 6.0 IELTS score unless you are exempt from the English proficiency test
  • F-1 or J-1 visa holder, upon enrollment
  • Nomination from the corresponding UMKC academic unit

Bloch school of management 

The Bloch Chancellor’s Non-Resident Award (CNR)  is a renewable scholarship that covers the difference between Missouri resident and nonresident tuition, without a limit on the number of credit hours taken.

Eligibility requirements for University of Missouri Kansas city merit scholarships

  • First-time, full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate or master’s-level student in the Bloch School of Management
  • Transcripts showing an outstanding academic record — minimum 3.0-grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum 79 iBT (550 paper) TOEFL score or 6.0 IELTS score unless you are exempt from the English proficiency test
  • F-1 or J-1 visa holder, upon enrollment
  • Nomination from the corresponding UMKC academic unit
  • Additional academic unit criteria, if required

School of Computer and Engineering

The School of Computing and Engineering offers the Dean’s International Scholar Award (DISA) to all new undergraduate and master’s international students.  The DISA covers a large portion of the non-resident tuition rate, is awarded upon admission, and renewable.

Scholarship Value:

  • Undergraduate students $4,250
  • Master’s students $4,000
